The sad news of the death of Clara L. Morris, of Bangor, reached the many relatives of this vicinity shortly after it occurred at 7 o'clock a.m. Tuesday morning. The body arrived Wednesday morning and the funeral was held at the Friends church Springdale at 2 p.m.

MORRIS - At Bangor, Iowa, 2d mo. 16th, 1891. Mrs. Clara L. Morris, twin daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Abraham Wilson of Springdale.

Deceased was born at Springdale, Ia., 1st mo., 25th, 1868. Was a birthright member of the Society of Friends and her name is still in the list of members of the Conservative branch. A graduate at Springdale Seminary with the class of '86. Was married to J.J. Morris 2d mo. 14, 1889, to them was born a son 2nd mo. 25, 1890, husband and son remain to mourn the loss of a loving wife and mother. Her kind and loving disposition gained her a large circle of friends to whom she endeared herself by her many acts of kindness. When news of her serious illness came to her parents it caused a deep sorrow not only in the hearts of her relatives but to all who heard the tidings. Her father and mother went to her and all effort to save her life was put forth but to no purpose. When the afternoon before she died her mother mentioned that she might not get well she replied, "If I do not it is all right I am ready. Take me back to Springdale and take care of Ralph" She afterward told different ones how happy she was. She leaves five brothers and two sisters all of whom were present but two, Charlie, her twin brother, who is in business in Chicago. Prof. Wilson of Dixon, Ill., they being unable to reach here in time for the funeral.
