Funeral services for Robert Lee Moore, 85, will be held at 2 p.m. today (Thursday) at the Sheets and Dahn funeral home with the Rev. James Elvig in charge. Burial will be in the Red Oak cemetery.

Mr. Moore died July 16 at a Tipton nursing home. He was born in Cedar county Sept. 21, 1877 and never married. He attended rural schools.

He was the son of Robert and Mary Petersen Moore.

A retired farmer, he lived with his sister, Anna, in Tipton until her death in 1954.

He is survived by a brother, Samuel, Fort Collins, Colo., and several neices and nephews.
