Services were June 19 for Robert C. Moffit, 71, Bartlett, Ill., who died June 17 in an Aurora, Ill., hospital where he had been a patient for a month. Dr. Carleton C. Rogers officiated and burial was in Lake Street Memorial park.

The son of John and Mary Carson Moffit, he was born Nov. 14, 1893 in Tipton and had been a Hanover township, Ill., resident for 30 years. A veteran of World War I, he retired as a machinist in 1952.

Surviving are the widow, Clara Bonin Moffit; 2 brothers, James C. and Frank H. Moffit, both of Stanwood, and a sister, Mrs. Ethel M. Bagley of North Hollywood, Calif.

Two brothers, Thompson C. and William C. Moffit and his parents preceded him in death.
