Emma Landt daughter of Sylvester and Lydia Landt was born in Herkimer county, N.Y., Feb. 14th 1859, married Royer McKee at Tipton, Iowa, Feb. 13th 1877. She died February 22, 1904 aged 40 years and 8 days, leaving her husband Royer McKee and one daughter Catherine McKee. She also leaves one older sister, Mrs. Alice Harvey of Little Falls, N.Y. and one brother, Charles P. Landt of Herkimer N.Y. Funeral services were held at the family residence Wednesday afternoon Rev. W. W. Hess officiating and the interment was in Masonic cemetery.
