M. C. Helmer - Dead-- A telegram was received by relatives here Sunday morning, announcing the death of Morton C. Helmer at his late home in Los Angeles, California. He is remembered here as a native of this community and later as a merchant being engaged in general merchandising in the Fall building, now occupied by A. C. Sutton. He left here about ten years ago and located in Los Angeles where he married his second wife, who with a daughter by his first wife, survives him. Mr. Helmer was about fifty years of age.--Pioneer Press
