Funeral services for Emil Albert Kruckenberg, 69, Elmwood Park, Ill., were held at the Chapman Funeral Home at 11 a.m. April 25 with the Rev. Walter Wendt officiating. Burial was in the Trinity cemetery. Pallbearers were Melvin Deke, Allen Kruckenberg, Clifford Wenndt, Raymond Wiese, Dale Wenndt and Dwaine Pahl. In charge of floral tributes were Mrs. Martin Daehn and Mrs. William Deerberg.

Kruckenberg was born Nov. 25, 1909 at Lowden the son of Emma Kruckenberg. He married Hazel Wiese Aug. 12, 1931 at Rock Island, Ill. He was a retired supervisor at Hotpoint. Kruckenberg died at Gottleib Memorial Hospital April 22.

Survivors are his wife, a daughter, Joan Kruckenberg, Elmwood Park, Ill., and brother, Arlin Esbaum, Davenport.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Emma Esbaum.
