Funeral services for Harvey L. Lund, 81, Bellevue, retired Stanwood area farmer, were held at the Stanwood Union church Feb. 25 with the Rev. Jaymee Glenn Burns officiating. Pallbearers were John Lange, Bill Yock, Floyd Daniels, Barney Rowald, Bob Davidson and Vernon Boots. Mrs. Cliff (Jean) Crist, was soloist and Mrs. Wayne (Jo) Brown was organist.

Mr. Lund died at the Crestridge Nursing home, Maquoketa Feb. 22.

The son of Leo and Minnie Paulson Lund, he was born near Welton May 2, 1904. He was married to Helen Smolik at the Little Brown church, Nashua, March 2, 1927.

The couple farmed near Stanwood from 1944 to 1973 when they retired and moved to Bellevue.

Mr. Lund is survived by his wife, a daughter, Mrs. Roland (Alicia) Meyers, Stanwood; 2 granddaughters, Mrs. Craig (Kim) Pearson, Mechanicsville and Kristin Meyers, Stanwood; a foster son, Ed Ross, Stanwood and his mother, Mrs. Minnie Lund, Maquoketa.

He was preceded in death by his father, a sister, Viletta and a brother, Lesley.
