The death of Mrs. James Nuckels, 52, occurred at 4:20 o'clock Sunday morning, at her home southwest of town. She had been ill for some time.

Lettie Bell was born at Chicago, May 18, 1890, the daughter of William Russell and Eunice Bell. She was married to James Nuckels in Milwaukee in 1909 and their home was in that city for some years, moving to the farm near West Branch seven years ago.

She is survived by her husband, her mother, Mrs. Eunice Bell, who has been caring for her during her illness, two brothers, Emmet Bell of Milwaukee, Wis., and Lester Bell of West Allis, Wis. Her father and one brother, Stancy Bell, preceded her in death.

Funeral services were held in the Friends church at two o'clock Tuesday afternoon, conducted by the Rev. Taylor Guthrie, with burial in the West Branch cemetery.
