Funeral services for John Daufeldt, long-time resident of Cedar county, will be held from Trinity Reformed church north of Moscow, at two p.m. Saturday afternoon, with Rev. J. M. Newgard of Wilton officiating. Interment will be in Moscow cemetery.

Mr. Daufeldt was born in Germany, December 27, 1857, and died at the age of 77 years, at his home north of Wilton on Wednesday evening. He had lived in this country the past 53 years, most of which time was spent in Cedar county. He is survived by his wife and five sons, John, Charles and Martin Daufeldt, all of Cedar county, Edward Daufeldt at home, and Emil Daufeldt of Davenport.
