19 February 1920 - West Branch Times
Clelia Lee Holden was born September 4, 1869, at Lexington, Va., and passed away February 11, 1920 in Chicago, Illinois.
At the age of fifteen she united with the Presbyterian church and was a member of this organization during her life.
She taught school in Virginia for a number of years and then came to West Branch where she resided for about eight years, leaving here about two years ago.
Death found her busy at her work with a Chicago addressing firm, and she quietly passed in to the great beyond.
Her father and mother both preceded her in death, but she is survived by two brothers, William of Cleveland, Ohio, John of Richmond, Va., and two sisters, Mrs. Grace Powers of Roanoke, Va., and Mrs. R. B. Reed of this place.
After brief services conducted by Rev. W. Glen Rowley, Friday morning, her remains were laid to rest in the R. B. Reed family lot in the local cemetery.
