He grew to manhood on the farm where he was born. At the age of 19 years in company with his uncle and family he came to Iowa, settling on a farm in Cedar county, Oct. 3, 1883.

Mr. Frymoyer was married to Miss Susie Whitmer, who has been a faithful and loving wife who mourns her irreparable loss. Six children were born to this union.

Mrs. Della Peden of near Tipton, Iowa; Mrs. Pearl Hawk of Muscatine, Iowa; Ralph, Oliver, Arch and Neal of near Bloomfield; also twenty grandchildren, one grandson having passed away seven years ago. Five years ago Mr. Frymoyer and his wife left for sunny California to spend their declining years. In 1927 he suffered a stroke of paralysis from which he never fully recovered. On June first he became helpless and was confined to a hospital in California. Everything was done for him that human hands could do, but Our Heavenly Father called him to rest and what is our loss is his gain. His desire was often expressed to go to rest. Early in life he was catacized and united in the German Lutheran church. After coming to Iowa he with his wife was united with the Presbyterian church of Sugar Creek, later transferring their membership to the Wilton Presbyterian church, where all the children were baptized in infancy. He lived a quiet, peaceful life, loved by all who knew him, always desirous to administer to the needs of his loved ones, who greatly miss him.

Funeral services were conducted at 2:00 p.m. October 15th by the Rev. Luther Childs of Centerville, Iowa.

It was the first funeral held in the beautiful new funeral home at Bloomfield, Iowa. Burial was made in the new addition of I.O.O.F. cemetery.
