James Cannon, aged inmate of the Cedar County home, died in that institution Friday. Funeral services were held in the County Home chapel with the Rev. Father M. Morarty, pastor of St. Mary's church of Tipton, officiating. Mr. Cannon was born in Ireland, and came to this country in 1887. He was admitted to the Cedar County home in January, 1896. It is believed that he has relatives in Clinton and an attempt is being made to locate them.
