Ben Bohstedt died this morning (Thursday) at 3 o'clock, after an illness extending over four weeks. His death was caused by heart failure. He was taken sick at Lake, Iowa, where he was employed in a banking institution. Last Friday he was brought home, which was calculated to restore him to health, and just when his ever-watchful attendants thought him to be entirely out of danger, the end came suddenly.

Ben was a young man of good habits and all that knew him were his friends. All will be grieved when they learn of his untimely death. Mr. and Mrs. Bohstedt are mourning as only parents can who have lost their only son; a son who had a future before him. He was a young man whom his parents could take just pride in. But his parents and sisters do not mourn alone, for a host of friends are also deeply affected.

Deceased was born February 3, 1882, and therefore 19 years, 8 months and 7 days of age at the time of his death.
