30 June 1955 - The Tipton Advertiser

Tipton relatives received word the first of this week of the death of Mrs. Lester Blackman, at the hospital in Pueblo, after a lingering illness. Mrs. Blackman was Ursula Armstrong prior to her marriage to Mr. Blackman, and the couple had attended Tipton high school during their earlier years of residence in Tipton. Mrs. Belle Hobstetter of Tipton is a sister.

Surviving are her husband, one daughter Mrs. Floyd Siegfried, and a son Russell, all residing in Pueblo. The Blackmans have resided in Colorado for more than thirty years, but there are still many friends in Tipton community who regret to learn the sad news.

Memorial services were held Tuesday, June 26, at Pueblo, Colo.
