Surviving are his mother and father; one brother, Phillip Allan; his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Schilling of Clarence and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Crawford of Tipton; his aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.

Brief services were held Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock at the home with Rev. Bernard Kemper in charge, followed by burial in the Clarence cemetery.

A little flower came down our way,
And we hoped it had come to stay;
But God needed it in His garden above,
Where it will receive His care and love.
Although we miss this flower so,
In our grief 'tis sweet to know,
That this rose bud so sweet and fair
In heaven will greet us when we get there.
