Lou Hazlett, daughter of Catherine and Calvin Hazlett, was born March 7, 1868 at Olin, Iowa. Her mother died when she was less than three years of age. Much of her early life was spent in the home of an older sister, Mrs. Henry Decker at Clarence, Iowa.

After Mrs. Decker's death in 1915 she found employment in Fayette, Iowa, where she later married Charles Cain. Some years after Mr. Cain's death she was married to George Streeter. She is survived by Mr. Streeter, a half-sister, Mrs. Sam Fitch of Sherman, Texas; and two nephews, Russell Hazlett of Houston, Texas and Harry Decker of Clarence.

She passed away at Fayette, Iowa on December 28th, 1950, and was laid to rest at Olin, Iowa by the side of her mother.
