Funeral services for Arthur J. Larick were held at Chapman's Funeral Home, Clarence, Iowa, on Thursday afternoon, September 25, 1952, at 2 o'clock.

Arthur J. Larick was born in Nebraska on June 17, 1886 to John and Mary Ann Schaefer Larick.

On November 26, 1913 he was united in marriage with Alvena Liercke.

Mr. Larick lived in the Clarence community for the past 40 years. He had engaged in farming until his retirement because of ill health. He passed away at Cedar Rapids on Tuesday evening, September 23, 1952, having reached the age of 66 years, 3 months and 6 days.

The deceased leaves to mourn his passing his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Hazel Hackert, Stanwood, and a grandson, David Miller. He was preceeded in death by 6 sisters and one brother.

Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Edward J. Bowers, pastor of St. John's Evangelical and Reformed Church. The music was furnished by Anna Klatt, Dorothy Claney who were accompanied by Mrs. Helen Lane. The pallbearers were: Henry Klatt, Walter Hartwig, Robert Long, Herman Hunwardsen, Thomas Clemmens and William Deerberg.

Burial was made in the Clarence Cemetery.
