Fred B. Belcher passed away on 5, 1952, after a short illness.

He was the son of Ida and Byron Belcher, born June 9, 1883, near Clarence, Iowa. He attended the Clarence high school, later moving to Cedar Rapids and for several years in California.

He is survived by a son Fred A. Belcher of Sunset Beach, California, three sisters, Mrs. Lula Dewell of Clarence, Mrs. Ona E. Clay of Cedar Rapids, and Mrs. Florence Krieger of New York City. Also seventeen nieces and nephews.

Services were held from the Beatty funeral home on Monday, September 8, 1952, by Gordon Smith and burial was made in the Diamond cemetery north of Clarence.
