George Huber, well known and esteemed former Tipton man, died at his home at 1114 First ave., Cedar Rapids, at 8:30 o'clock, this morning.

He was born March 11, 1864, at Tipton, Iowa, and had been a resident of Cedar Rapids the past twenty-five years. Besides his widow he is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Glen E. Morrison, of Lindsay, California, and a son, Dr. Charles F. Huber of Cedar Rapids.

Mr. Huber was a member of Maine Lodge I.O.O.F., the Knights of Pythias, and the Modern Woodmen of America.

The Huber family will be well remembered by many of our older subscribers and residents of the Tipton community.

Funeral service will be held in Tipton Saturday afternoon, April 9 at 2:00 o'clock at the Charles Ochiltree residence.
