Gerhard Meier, little son of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Meier, died last Friday at their home a mile north of Lowden of pneumonia having been sick but a very short time. Gerhard was born on February 24th, 1911, and the angel of death took him when he was only five months and 25 days old. Funeral was held Sunday afternoon with services in the Lutheran church and interment in the Lutheran cemetery. A great many relatives, friends and neighbors attended the services at the church which were conducted by Rev. J. H. Brammer. The floral tributes were many and beautiful. All here sympathize deeply with the bereaved parents.
