Mechanicsville - Mabel May Wilkinson, 80, widow of Roy A. Wilkinson and a Cedar Rapids resident since 1921, died Saturday following a brief illness.

Born in Cedar county Jan. 6, 1891, Mrs. Wilkinson was a member of Cedar Christian church, World war I auxiliary and Mexican Border Veterans auxiliary.

Surviving are 2 sons, George Secor, Long Beach, Calif., and Howard F. Secor, Cedar Rapids; a sister, Clara Thede, Maquoketa; 7 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

Services were held at Beatty-Beurle chapel at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday by the Rev. Neville G. Clayton with burial in Rosehill cemetery, Mechanicsville.
