Funeral service for Mrs. Henry (Gertrude) Voelker, 84, were held at the Stanwood United Presbyterian church Oct. 23 with the Rev. Wanis Sim'an officiating. Mrs. Edwin Davidson was the organist.

Pallbearers were Ralph Nodurft, Henry Ormsby, Jack Hanks, Don Hegarty Jr., Harlan Miles and Edwin Davidson. Mrs. Kenneth Smith and Mrs. Ruth Rhoads were in charge of the flowers.

Mrs. Voelker died at her home in Stanwood Oct. 21., following a short illness.

The daughter of Elmer and Berdella Doods Clingman, she was born at Cazinovia, Ill., March 24, 1887 and was married to Henry Voelker at Cazinovia Feb. 18, 1909. She had lived in Stanwood since 1918 and was a member of the Stanwood United Presbyterian church.

She is survived by 2 sons, Harlan, Stanwood and Melvin, Cedar Rapids; a daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Heeren, Mt. Vernon; 12 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; a brother, Roy Clingman, Dixon, Ill., and a sister, Mrs. Edna Rose, Dixon, Ill.

She was preceded in death by her husband; a son, Cassie and a daughter, Frances.
