Funeral services for Mrs. Ruth Meyer, 66, Clarence, were held at St. John's United church of Christ Sept. 3 with the Rev. Calvin Schumacher officiating. Mrs. Robert Hasselbusch was organist. Burial was in the Clarence cemetery. Pallbearers were Ronnie Kress, Dean Claney, Kenneth Dircks, Larry Dewell, Robert Miller and Robert Thies. Mrs. Henry Thies and Mrs. Helen Norberg were in charge of flowers.

Mrs. Meyer died at Mercy hospital, Cedar Rapids, Sept. 1, following a brief illness.

Ruth Fuller was born Oct. 2, 1905 at Chariton, the daughter of O. J. and Rosetta Turk Fuller. She was married to Elmer E. Meyer on Aug. 7, 1927 at Clarence. He preceded her in death.

Mrs. Meyer was active in the Order of the Eastern Star and a member of St. John's church, being active in the Women's Fellowship.

Survivors are a daughter, Rosemary; 2 sisters, Mrs. Howard Tacker, Clarence and Mrs. Leo Schotte, Omaha, Nebr.; 4 brothers, Neil, Chamberlain, S. D.; John, Des Moines; Jimmy, Greeley, Colo. and Don, Chariton.
