A former Lowden and Wheatland area resident, Mrs. Anne Richmann, 81, of LaPorte, Ind., died July 25 at Colonial Manor Nursing Home, Wheatland.

Funeral services for Mrs. Richmann were held at 1:30 p.m. July 27 at Chapman Funeral Home, Wheatland, with the Rev. Paul Jordan of Lowden officiating. Burial was at the Massillon cemetery.

Anne Rothbart was born Nov. 4, 1890, in Germany. She married Louis Richmann Jan. 24, 1912. She had been a resident of Colonial Manor Nursing home for 10 months. She had lived at LaPorte, Ind. for 24 years.

She is survived by one grandson, William R. Schick of Chicago, Ill. She was preceded in death by her husband and one daughter. She was also preceded in death by her son-in-law, Lt. William Schick, who was the first doctor killed in World War II. Lt. Schick died at Pearl Harbor and the former Schick Veterans Hospital at Clinton was named in his honor.
