Final rites for Carlton Frink Davis, 58, were held at the Sheets and Son Funeral home March 15 with Gordon Smith officiating. Burial was in the Clarence cemetery. Pallbearers were John Kahl, Earl Anderson, Donald J. Hegarty, Joe Kress and Leo and Thomas Brennan.

Mr. Davis died unexpectedly at his home near Clarence March 13, following a heart attack.

The son of Jonas Norman and Helen Frink Davis, he was born at Clarence Aug. 2, 1903 and received his education in the Clarence schools. He was married to Margaret Davidson at Chicago, Ill. Oct. 1, 1946.

A farm hand, he lived in the Clarence area all of his life.

He is survived by his wife, 3 daughters, Mrs. Tom (Carolyn) Goff, Rapids City, S.D. and Ellen and Mary, Clarence; 2 sons, Jonas, Oxford Junction and Norman, Clarence; 2 sisters, Mrs. Lucy Lorence, Tipton and Mrs. Russel (Gertrude) Beck, Clarence and a brother, Paul, Battle Creek, Mich.

He was preceded in death by 2 brothers, a sister and 3 sons.
