Stanwood - Funeral services for Arthur Hunt, 53, a former Stanwood businessman, were held Tuesday. Mr. Hunt died at Manchester Dec. 29 following a several month illness.

Services were held Tuesday at the Manchester Methodist church with graveside rites being held at the Stanwood cemetery. Military rites were conducted by Hegarty-Busching post of the American Legion.

Mr. Hunt was born in Guthrie, Okla. in 1920 and married Martha Siriter in Missouri July 6, 1941. The family moved to Stanwood in 1949 where he operated a garage and Rambler dealership before moving to Manchester in 1966 to operate an auto dealership.

Survivors include his wife; 2 sons, Beryl, Manchester, and Larry, Morley; 3 daughters, Mrs. Raymond East, Mechanicsville; Mary and Myrna, El Paso, Texas and several grandchildren.
