Lowden - Otto Boedeker, 52, a native of the Clarence community, was killed Monday afternoon in a highway accident near Braham, in Minnesota, where he had lived the past four years. No details of the tragedy have been received as yet. Local relatives are at Braham to attend the funeral Thursday. Mr. Boedeker, son of Henry and Minnie Debner Boedeker, was born on a farm south of Clarence, Jan. 18th, 1879, and grew to manhood here. He married in 1934, and farmed in this locality several years, then located in North Dakota, before going to Minnesota. The widow, three daughters and a son, all of Braham, survive, together with three brothers Charles of Tipton, Henry and Dick of Lowden; and three sisters, Mesdames Emma Edler of Tipton, Freda Edler of Donahue, and Minnie Behrens of Lowden.
