Stanwood - Graveside services for Harry Hoyman were held Saturday, Sept. 19 at 2 p.m. following services at Waterloo that morning at the United Presbyterian church.

Mr. Hoyman died Sept. 16 at his home following a long illness. He would have been 85 years old Sept. 18. He is survived by his wife, a daughter, Mrs. Edward (Roberta) Andrews and a grandson, all of Waterloo; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Davidson, Stanwood; Mrs. Eva Hamilton, Chicago; Mrs. Avis Lyon, Florida; and nieces and nephews.

Mr. Hoyman was born at Stanwood, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Hoyman, one of a family of 11 children. After his graduation from the College of Veterniary Medicine at what is now Iowa State University at Ames, he became a government meat inspector.

He was married to Addie Fennimore May 11, 1910, at St. Joseph, Mo. Following his retirement, they came to Stanwood to make their home. In recent years they moved to Waterloo, to be near their daughter.

Those from a distance who attended the services were Mr. and Mrs. Fay Schooler, James Hoyman, Indianola; Dr. and Mrs. Miller, Cedar Rapids; Mr. and Mrs. Charles Bentley, Fort Madison; Mr. and Mrs. Howard Hamilton, Bensonville, Ill.
