Clarence - Funeral services for Louie Conrad were held Saturday at St. John's United Church of Christ with Dr. C. W. Ebert officiating. Pallbearers were nephews, Leonard Conrad, Lawrence Conrad, Wilbur Conrad, Arnold Conrad, Norman Conrad and Raymond Conrad.

Mrs. Victor Andersen and Mrs. Carl Moir were in charge of flowers. Burial was in St. John's cemetery.

Conrad died at his home August 26. the son of Ernest and Hanna Kroemer Conrad, he was born Feb. 14, 1877, on a farm south of Lowden. On February 5, 1902, he was married to Wilhelmina Reinking at Clarence, who preceded him in death, as did four brothers and two sisters.

Survivors are daughters, Eleanor, at home; and Mrs. Martin Hasselbusch, Stanwood, Larry and Ivan Hasselbusch, grandsons, Mrs. Anna Wilkening and Mrs. Fred Bicknese, Frankfurt, South Dakota.
