Funeral service for Mrs. Charles Sherman, 52, were held Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. in the Sheets funeral home. The Rev. Bartell of Bennett officiated. Interment was in Inland cemetery.

Mrs. Sherman died Sunday in the Miller nursing home. She was born Matilda King, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Horace G. King of Dixon, Sept. 28, 1899.

Surviving are the widower, the parents; four brothers, George of Davenport, Harvey of Dixon, Lloyd and Charles; 3 sisters, Mrs. Glen Schaffer of Bennett, Mrs. Queen Buckley and Edith King.
