Mrs. Sadie Sisler, 84 years and 11 months of age, passed away at the Ralston Nursing home in Tipton Sunday afternoon at 4:30, following a lingering illness.

She was born on a farm near Clarence on Sept. 28, 1867, the daughter of Andrew and Carolyn Wise. She graduated from the Clarence high school and attended Brown's Business college at Davenport. She was married to Charles Louis Sisler on November 23, 1897. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1917 and also by a brother, George Wise.

She is survived by her son Charles of Stanwood and a number of other relatives. She had lived for 55 years on the Sisler farm 3 miles southeast of Stanwood and nearly all her life in Cedar county and Dayton township. She was a member of the Methodist church and the Women's Society of Christian Service.

Funeral services were conducted Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 in the Stanwood Methodist church by the Rev. Raymond White. Burial was in the Red Oak Gove cemetery near Stanwood.
