Funeral services for Harry Schoff, 76, Lowden, were held Friday, Sept. 24 at Zion United Church of Christ in Lowden the Rev. Paul Jordan officiating. Burial was in the Clarence cemetery.

Music for the service was provided by Mrs. Paul Jordan soloist, and Mrs. Walter Helmold, organist. Mrs. Lewis Sander and Mrs. Laverna Proesch were flower attendants.

Pallbearers were Gaylon Esbaum, Lewis Sander, Irwin Steinke, Carl Ruprecht, Hubert Richmann and Delbert Kruckenberg.

Mr. Schoff died Sept. 22 at the Clarence nursing home. He was born Nov. 10, 1899 in Cedar county, the son of Martin and Katharine Clemmens Schoff. He married Bertha Bark Dec. 26, 1923 at Clarence. He was a member of Zion United Church of Christ, Lowden.

He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Donald (Sharon) Beatty, Shellsburg, a son, Douglas, Marion, 3 grandchildren, 2 brothers, Lawrence and Alonzo, both of Lowden; and 2 sisters, Mrs. John Proesch and Mrs. Fred Stuhr, both of Lowden. He was preceded in death by his wife, 2 brothers and a sister.
