Funeral services for Arthur G. Licht, 78, Lowden, were held Aug. 2, 1988 at Trinity Lutheran church with the Rev. Gary Ruckman officiating. Olga Hoffmeier was the organist and the men's choir sang. Pallbearers were Steve Bowstead, Dick and Mark Mensing, Warren Chapman, Kenn Nye, John Einck and Ray Forbes. Burial was in the Lowden cemetery.

Mr. Licht died July 30 at Wheatland Manor.

The son of Albert and Louise Butterbrodt Licht, he was born Nov. 12, 1910 in Lowden.

He was an Army veteran of World War II and worked for the Lowden post office for 42 years. He was a member of Lillis-Deerberg Legion Post 366, AMVET Post 16 and a past member of the Lowden fire department.

Mr. Licht is survived by a brother, Raymond, Lowden and 4 sisters, Mildred Licht, Dorothy Wiebel, Pauline Bowstead and Marian Mensing, all of Lowden. He was preceded in death by a brother and 2 sisters.
