Services For Emma Lietz Will Be Friday

Miss Emma Bertha Lietz, pioneer resident of Cedar county, passed away at the Woode Nursing home Tuesday night, Aug. 12. She was born in Germany, Jan. 21, 1873, coming to the United States at an early age and has resided in Cedar county for many years. Funeral services will be held at the Sheets funeral home Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock with Rey. Raymond Tiemeyer of the Lutheran church in charge. Interment will be in the Tipton Masonic cemetery.

Survivors include two nieces, Mrs. Helen Lietz Taylor, of Kansas City and Gertrude Bailey of Arlington, Va., two nephews, Carl W. *** and Donald Lietz of Washington, D.C., and a sister-in-law, Mrs. Amos Lietz of Washington, D.C.
