Clarence - Funeral services for Mrs. Minnie Goldsmith, 84, were Monday at 11 a.m. in St. John United Church of Christ with Dr. C. W. Ebbert officiating. A mixed quartet furnished the music with Sybil Klatt at the organ. Burial was in St. John's cemetery.

Mrs. Goldsmith died late June 2 at Mercy hospital, Cedar Rapids, after failing health the past year. She was born Wilhelmina Hasenmeyer, April 10, 1882 in Hannover, Germany, the daughter of Frederick and Wilhelmina Busching Hasenmeyer. She came to the United States when she was 10 years old and lived most of her life in the Clarence community. She was married to Louie Goldsmith on Feb. 16, 1905 in Cedar county.

Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Henry (Leona) Dircks, Clinton; a son, Norman, Lowden; 5 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Louisa Reinking, Clarence.

Pallbearers were Ronald Goldsmith, Gary Goldsmith, Kenneth Dircks, John Naber, Carroll Yutsler and Carl Haesenmeyer. The floral tributes were in charge of Mrs. Jerold Hartog, Esther Reinking and Eleanor Conrad.
