Mechanicsville - Funeral services were held Tuesday, Jan. 17, at 1:30 p.m. in the Horner Funeral Home for Martha Fairley, with Pastor George Gallaher in charge.

Miss Fairley died in the Cedar County home Sunday. She had made her home there for the past 30 years.

She was born April 20, 1884 in Cedar county, the daughter of C. C. and Melissa Stebbins Fairley. She lived in Mechanicsville before going to the home.

She is survived by a brother, William Fairley, Bettendorf.

Pallbearers were Harold Nicoll, Elwood Rhoads, Howard Coppess, Glen McKibben, John Cook and Earl Fairley, Lisbon.

Interment in Rose Hill cemetery.
