Last rites for Henry Carl Weber, 66, were held Dec. 22 at the Horner Funeral home in Mechanicsville. The Rev. James R. Nelson officiated. Pallbearers were Bill Dickey, Kenneth Kallec, Art Olson, Frances Miller, Robert Boots, Glenn Meineke.

Mr. Weber died at a Sioux City hospital Dec. 19, following a heart attack.

The son of Henry and Tena Eilers Weber, he was born July 2, 1900 at Springfield, Ill. He farmed in South Dakota and Iowa and, for the past 12 years, had worked in a paper factory in Sioux City.

He is survived by 6 sons, Laverne, Merlin, Donald, Kenneth, William and Harold and 4 daughters, Sharon, Mrs. Walt (Elvera) Wendel, Mrs. Glen (Carol)) Lovell; Mrs. Roxy (Marlene) Scott, all of Mechanicsville; 3 sisters, Mrs. Fanny Plueger; Mrs. Minnie Plueger, LeMars; Mrs. Dora Luschen, Merril; 38 grandchildren and a great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by a son, Dennis; a daughter, LaVonne; his parents, 5 brothers, a sister and a grandson.
