Mechanicsville - Funeral services for John Hines were conducted Nov. 29 in the Methodist church with Rev. James Nelson officiating.

John Koppenhaver, Robert Ross, Elmer Briggs, Willard Albaugh, Harry Jackson and Merle Thimmes were pallbearers. Burial was in Rose Hill cemetery, with Baxter Mortuary, Marion, in charge.

Mr. Hines, 64, died unexpectedly on Nov. 25.

He was born Oct. 3, 1904 at Mechanicsville and was graduated from Mechanicsville High school. He lived on a farm northwest of Mechanicsville for many years. He had been employed for the past 6 years on the James Kepros farm near Springville.

There are no immediate relatives surviving.
