Burial services were held Saturday, July 3rd in the Massillon cemetery for Mrs Lois Schick, 56, who died Thursday in La Porte, Ind. She had been ill for several months. Funeral services were held Saturday morning in La Porte.

Mrs Schick, the former Lois Richmann was born Feb. 10, 1915 at Lowden. She was the daughter of Louis Richmann and his wife Ann, nee Rothbart. She attended the Lowden schools. She was a registered nurse and received her training at the Evangelical hospital in Chicago, Ill. She was later employed at that hospital.

On May 24, 1941, she was united in marriage to Dr Wm. R Schick. Dr Schick died at Pearl Harbor on Dec. 7, 1941. He was the first Air Force surgeon to be killed in the surprise attack.

At the time of her death, Mrs Schick was serving as a school nurse. Surviving are a son, Wm. R. Schick of Chicago, Ill., and her mother, Mrs Ann Richmann of La Porte, Ind.
