Mrs Lena Juehring, 77, died Saturday evening in Tipton at the home of her daughter, Mrs Walter Gade, where she had been for several weeks. She had been in ill health for sometime.

Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday from the Oxford Junction Methodist church. Burial was in the Massillon cemetery.

Lena Hamdorf was born Aug. 11, 1883, in Germany, the daughter of Mr and Mrs John Hamdorf. She came to the United States with her parents as a young girl. She married Ernest Juehring in 1900 and they lived and farmed in the Massillon community until his death in 1929. Since then she had been living with her son and daughter-in-law, Mr and Mrs Walter Juehring in Oxford Junction.

Surviving are seven sons, Ernest of Clarence, Harry of Lost Nation, Arnold of Cedar Rapids, Ervin of Toronto, Lawrence of Wheatland, and Harold and Walter of Oxford Junction; four daughters, Mrs Anna Gade of Tipton, Mrs Ester Brinkman of Oxford Junction, Mrs Millard First of Wyoming, and Mrs Betty Schade of Calamus; one brother, Chris Hamdorf of Massillon; one sister, Mrs Elsie Hansen of Onslow; 25 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.
