Funeral services for Otto H. Helmold, 95, Clarence, were held Nov. 22, 1994 at Chapman Funeral Home in Clarence with the Rev. Vernon Clausing officiating. Pallbearers were Lavern and Norman Bergmann, Raymond and Henry Geadelmann; and Herman and Allen Helmold. Burial was in St. John's cemetery in Clarence.

Mr. Helmold died Nov. 19 at the Clarence Nursing Home, following a long illness.

The son of Dietrich and Caroline Becker Helmold, he was born June 16, 1899 in Cedar county. He married Minnie Pundman Feb. 11, 1932 in Rock Island, Ill. She died in April 1990.

Mr. Helmold was a retired farmer.

There are no immediate survivors.

He was preceded in death by his wife, 5 brothers and 6 sisters.
