LUDWIG KETELSEN
WILTON - Funeral services for Ludwig Ketelsen,
82, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the Wilton Zion Lutheran church with Rev. Garth Baker officiating. Interment will be at the Oakdaie cemetery.

Visitation is now being held at the Griffith Funeral Home. The body will be taken to the
church at 11:30 a.m. Thursday to lie in state until service time.

Mr. Ketelsen died Tuesday morning at the Wilton Nursing Home following a lengthy illness.

He was born Oct. 25, 1892, in Cedar County the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Ketelsen, and had been a life resident of this community.

He married Beulah Wagner Aug. 19, 1919. Following her death he married Vivian
Fisher Aug. 5, 1961. He was a member of the Zion Lutheran church of Wilton; and the American Legion, Post 584. He was retired farmer.

Survivors include one son, Harlan Ketelsen, of Cedar Rapids; two step-sons, Robert Fischer of Nashville, Tenn., and Richard Fisher of Iowa City; four daughters, Mrs. Verna (Mary Lou) Voss of Bennett, Mrs. Leonard (Helen) Voss of Rochester, Iowa, Mrs. Russel (Hulda) Chapman of Tipton; three step-daughters, Mrs. Duane (Patricia) Maule of Aledo, III., Mrs. John (Lois) Ludke of Davenport, and Mrs. Donald (Marjorie) Neipert of Wilton; one brother, Herman Ketelsen of Wilton; one sister, Mrs. Hulda Grunder of Wilton; 16 grandchildren; and nine greatgrandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his first wife May 25, 1959; and his second wife, Dec. 3, 1963;
four brothers; and one sister.
