Death notice -

WILLIAM ("Billie" ) JOSEPH COMSTOCK died July 13, 1895 at Rochester, Iowa. He was born in Yates County, New York in 1828. He first married Mary J. Hopkins. They had two children; William F. married to Cynthia Long and Charles L. Comstock, married to Amanda M. Hamilton.
William and Mary divorced in 1874. William second married to Mrs Sarah Peden Dolan and they had eleven children : Nancy Maria; Nellie May; Sarah J.; Sade; Ida Belle; Franklin; Matthew and Gertrude. Three children died in infancy.

Burial was in the Rochester Cemetery, Rochester, Iowa .
