At the Southern Hotel, Cedar Rapids, at 2pm on Thursday April 5th, 1883 by Rev. D. T. Adams, Mr. Leslie H. Bailey and Miss Ida C. Ridenour, both of this vicinity. Mr. George Britton and sister Ida and Mr. W. F. Bailey and sister Anna, the latter being brother and sister of the groom, accompanied the bridal party to Cedar Rapids and were present at the ceremony. Mr. and Mrs. Bailey then went directly to Cedar Falls for a visit of a couple of days, returning Saturday evening to be greeted by a very pleasant reception party assembled at the residence of Mr. B's parents Mr and Mrs H. W. Bailey, where a number of elegant gifts were unexpectedly made to them. Mr. Bailey is in charge of one of the Grammar departments of our public schools and this, therefore, is the present home of himself and wife, to which they are cordially welcomed. Tipton Adv.
