HOLD GRAVESIDE RITES AT ANITA

ANITA -- Graveside rites were held Saturday at the Anita Evergreen cemetery for Mrs. Mayme Bell, 83, of Iowa City. The Rev. Harold Jones of the Anita United Methodist church officiated.

Mrs. Bell had been hospitalized in Iowa City and recently taken to a nursing home to recuperate. She died Wednesday night.

Mr. and Mrs. Bell were married in 1907 and owned and operated a cafe in Anita until moving to Iowa City in 1938. Mr. Bell died in 1953.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Charles Gray of Rockford, Ill., and five grandchildren.
