FORMER RESIDENT DIES IN ILLINOIS
Mrs. Stella Oathoudt Quimby, 75, former resident here, died at Calumet City, Ill., where funeral services and burial were held yesterday, according to word received by relatives. Mrs. Quimby had been hospitalized since suffering a stroke last fall.
She was born and raised here, the daughter of Robert and Lydia Kimball Oathoudt and left Atlantic in 1912. Her husband, Dan Quimby and two brothers, Floyd Oathoudt of Walnut and Roy Oathoudt of El Cajon, Calif., preceded her in death. Surviving are a son, Donald Quimby of Calumet City; two sisters, Mrs. Otto Hansen of Atlantic and Mrs. Raymond Graham of Anaheim, Calif., and a brother, Ralph Oathoudt of Denver, Colo.

NOTE: Estella (Stella) Lydia Oathoudt was born July 25, 1891 at Lorah, Iowa and married Otto Waldemar Anderson on November 2, 1910 at Lorah. The couple adopted a son, Donald Alfred, in 1914. Otto died in 1924 at Longmont, Colorado. Stella was re-married to a Jennings (given name unknown), but was divorced by the time of the 1930 census. On Dec. 16, 1935 Stella was married to Daniel W.
