Well Known Woman Passes Away at Home at 1100 Poplar Street at 8:45 Last Evening after Long Illness
Mrs. Nancy Helen Hudspeth Berry, wife of A. F. Berry, died at 8:45 last evening at the home of herself and husband, 1100 Poplar street, death being the result of the general breaking up incident to old age and coming after ran [an] illness of some length.
Deceased was born in Bernard county, Ill., May 1st, 1846, and was there married in November of 1862 to A. F. Berry, the husband who survives her. They lived in Illinois till 1896 when they removed to this county. They lived west of the city for a number of years and then removed to this city.
She leaves her husband, three sons and one daughter. The children are George and Ed Berry of Cartersville, Mont., Frank of Massena and Mrs. Tissue Trailor of Wessington Springs, S. D. Her son, Frank, was the only one of the children present when she died.
Pending the receipt of word from the children no definite funeral announcement can be made, but it will probably be held Sunday at the Presbyterian church.
