Death of Miss Saxe.

Miss Jennie Saxe died at the Presbyterian hospital in Chicago last evening at 7:30 o’clock as the result of an operation for the removal of a tumor, at the age of 20 years, 8 months, 22 days. She went there three weeks ago. It was found that her condition was critical and that an operation while very dangerous was the only hope of saving her life. After the operation she rallied for a short time, but not for long, and it was soon seen that all hope of her recovery must be given up. She was a bright charming young lady and had many friends.

She leaves a mother, Mrs. Mary Saxe, 1010 Palm street, and two sisters and a brother to mourn her early death.

Her brother-in-law, C. J. Ostrander, left yesterday afternoon for Chicago and he will arrive home tomorrow morning with the remains. The funeral service will be announced in our issue tomorrow.
