ED SAXE DEAD

Dies at Passadena [Pasadena], Calif., of Consumption, from Which He was a Long Sufferer.

The relatives here received word today that Ed Saxe, formerly well-known in this city, had died in Pasadena, Calif., of consumption, from which he had been a sufferer for more than three years. With him at the time of his death were his wife and babes, his mother, sister and aunt. The deceased went to Passadena [Pasadena] about one year ago, hoping that a change of climate would stay the ravages of the disease, but it did not and now the end has come.

The deceased and his family have many friends in Atlantic who will learn with regret of his untimely death, (he was but 28 years old,) and will sympathize deeply with those who are thus bereaved. Deceased left this city for California four or five years ago.
