DEATH OF MRS. RINGLE

Aged Woman Has gone to Her Reward—Has Lived in County Many Years.

After a lingering illness of about two years duration Mrs. Henrietta Ringle passed away last evening at 6:15 o’clock at the home of her son G. W. Ringle, at the corner of Eighth and Maple streets. Deceased was in the eighty-second year of her life and during the last twenty-five years and [had] lived in Cass county. About two years ago she began failing perceptibly in health and gradually lost in strength and vitality till the end came.

The funeral service will be conducted by Rev. J. George at the Presbyterian church tomorrow afternoon at 2:30 o’clock and the interment will be made in the Atlantic cemetery.

Those wishing to view the remains are requested to call at the home of G. W. Ringle between the hours of 10 a. m. and 2 p. m. tomorrow, as the casket will not be opened at the church.

During her lifetime Mrs. Ringle was a staunch member of the Presbyterian church and when able took an active part in all church work and during her last sickness her interest did not lag and her faith was unshaken.

About twenty years ago she endured the loss of her husband and during the later years of her life made her home with her two surviving sons, G. W. and J. P. Ringle, both of this city.

NOTE FROM CONTRIBUTOR: Henrietta (Butler) Ringle was born in August 1831 and died February 25, 1908.
